Elliot Moir gains MRICS status

Turton Bond would like to congratulate Elliot Moir on successfully attaining his membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) via the Senior Professional route.

The RICS originated in the United Kingdom, in 1868, receiving it’s Royal Charter in 1881. It is a professional body promoting and enforcing the highest international standards in the valuation, management and development of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. The RICS’ presence and relevance continues to grow in the United States.

As a professional institution, the RICS officially recognizes Turton Bond as a conforming cost management and Quantity Surveying company.

At Turton Bond, we have a structured training program in place for all staff and we actively encourage the RICS membership for our team members. Additionally we are proud of our commitment to paying all

“I am proud to have achieved this accolade whilst at Turton Bond, and expect to be one of many as we continue to promote and support membership of our profession’s governing body amongst our team. With over 10 years experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management roles, I was eligible for chartered ‘MRICS’ membership through the Senior Professional route. This route involved the submission of three case studies; one to demonstrate my leadership skills, and the other two to demonstrate my technical competency in Cost Management. The final step was a one hour interview where I presented my career history and experience before being questioned on Professional Ethics, Leadership & Technical competency.”
