I have 5 years of experience working in both the preconstruction and post-contract phases of construction. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on numerous bespoke finish projects across various sectors, including stadia, commercial, hospitality, prime residential, and luxury retail. In my roles as both an Estimator and Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager, I have developed extensive knowledge of construction and MEP principles in diverse scenarios and project situations, with a strong emphasis on relationship management.

Having graduated from Northumbria University in 2021, I have been in practice for three years working for a consultancy firm delivering projects for both global and national sized clients. I have worked on both new build and refurbishment projects within a plethora of sectors including: retail, education, healthcare and residential. Throughout this time I have been involved in pre and post contract phases and have gained extensive experience in areas such as measurement/billing, estimating, tendering and contract administration.

After earning my BE in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, I have had the opportunity to grow my skill set across various sectors in the industry. Over the past 5 years, I have primarily focused on corporate real estate, where my responsibilities encompassed client relationship management, work plan execution, process optimization, and global portfolio management. Building strong relationships and delivering the best service to my clients is my priority.

I graduated from the Rutgers University Business School with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a concentration in Real Estate. I bring 2 years of experience in project delivery for a global consultancy business serving clients in corporate real estate. This experience, along with my attention to detail and strong communication skills, has enabled me to drive quality control while building meaningful client relationships. I strive to deliver exceptional project support for the Turton Bond team.

In 2020 I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. With Turton Bond, I will be pursuing my interests in analytics and cost data, which I gleaned during my University tenure; this will be done through the variety of construction specific courses staff are offered. These courses, coupled with the day to day involvement and training on a number of high profile projects across a broad range of sectors, will stand me in good stead to develop my career within the ever evolving construction industry over the coming years.

I have over 6 years of experience in the construction industry as a Cost Manager, involved in projects pre and post contract in sectors such as education, commercial, office fit-out, leisure and local council that range from $1M to over $200M. During this time I have gained substantial experience in estimating, procurement, tendering, measurement, post contract and financial closeout, contract management and life cycle costing which allows me to advise the client thoroughly in various different cost management scenarios.

Having worked within the construction industry for 3 years, I have already gained invaluable experience and success across a range of residential new build projects. My role as the main contractors Quantity Surveyor has seen me work on numerous projects in the North-East of England, varying in contract value from £2m – £9m. Graduating from Northumbria University in September 2021, I spent my first two years balancing work and my degree whilst learning on the job. This has proven to be key to further enhancing skills I hold including time management, working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask.

I have been actively involved in the construction cost consulting industry for the past 2 years working on a variety of different projects. I have experience in both the consultancy and general contractor side, where I gained practical experience both on the site and in the office on some of the most complex and cutting-edge residential projects in the Cape Town area. Since joining Turton Bond I have gained priceless experience in the pre and post-contract phases of a broad spectrum of projects ranging from upscale commercial and residential builds.

I have recently completed my university education and during this time, also gained a year of invaluable industry experience in the construction cost consultancy sector. This practical experience not only allowed me to apply the theoretical knowledge I acquired in university but also provided me with hands-on exposure both within the office and on-site. Working on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects enriched my understanding of construction practices in the London area. Joining Turton Bond represents my eagerness to learn from seasoned professionals and expand my expertise in the US cost management market.

After completing my Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying in 2018, I joined one of the leading UK main contractors working within their civil engineering and infrastructure business. Having joined as part of their Graduate Development Programme, I gained invaluable experience and exposure to the technical and analytical detail of how projects are planned and built, covering elements of construction from inception to completion. I also had the pleasure of working alongside clients and designers within their office settings, enabling true collaborative working and establishing strong working relationships. I have a vast amount of knowledge from working on several schemes of values varying from $3 – $100 million and look forward to taking the skills I have developed in the industry and applying these to a range of opportunities at Turton Bond.
