I graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO) in the Spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering and a minor in Construction Management. Over the course of my education, I developed the knowledge and skills to understand the construction of a building from the preconstruction process to project completion. My engineering background allows me to understand plans and specification development and building material properties. I was exposed to architectural courses which gave me perspective on the design side. By my sophomore year studying at Cal Poly SLO, I knew I wanted to dive into the business side of the industry and added my minor. From there, with the additional four years of working experience, my drive to be successful in this industry has only grown.

I have 5 years of experience working in both the preconstruction and post-contract phases of construction. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on numerous bespoke finish projects across various sectors, including stadia, commercial, hospitality, prime residential, and luxury retail. In my roles as both an Estimator and Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager, I have developed extensive knowledge of construction and MEP principles in diverse scenarios and project situations, with a strong emphasis on relationship management.

I am a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor with over 7 years’ experience in the construction industry. With a combination of both private development and general contractor experience, I have a sound working knowledge of construction and contract law, as well as various forms of contractual mechanisms. Having worked across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, hotels, healthcare, leisure, heritage, education & research facilities, I am capable of running and managing multiple projects as a client-facing Cost Manager.

Having graduated from Northumbria University in 2021, I have been in practice for three years working for a consultancy firm delivering projects for both global and national sized clients. I have worked on both new build and refurbishment projects within a plethora of sectors including: retail, education, healthcare and residential. Throughout this time I have been involved in pre and post contract phases and have gained extensive experience in areas such as measurement/billing, estimating, tendering and contract administration.

I am a results driven Quantity Surveyor with a track record of delivering high value projects on time and within budget. To date I have specialized within the UK housing sector, managing all commercial aspects of multiple residential developments from pre-post contract across the central belt in Scotland simultaneously.

My Cost Management experience to date has been wide-ranging across public and private sector clients including residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and infrastructure works. This has involved working for both Owners and General Contractors, building a skillset that includes estimating, cost management, procurement, bidding, and contract administration. I take great pride in contributing to the successful delivery of a project.

In 2020 I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. With Turton Bond, I will be pursuing my interests in analytics and cost data, which I gleaned during my University tenure; this will be done through the variety of construction specific courses staff are offered. These courses, coupled with the day to day involvement and training on a number of high profile projects across a broad range of sectors, will stand me in good stead to develop my career within the ever evolving construction industry over the coming years.

Having worked within the construction industry for 3 years, I have already gained invaluable experience and success across a range of residential new build projects. My role as the main contractors Quantity Surveyor has seen me work on numerous projects in the North-East of England, varying in contract value from £2m – £9m. Graduating from Northumbria University in September 2021, I spent my first two years balancing work and my degree whilst learning on the job. This has proven to be key to further enhancing skills I hold including time management, working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask.

I have a diverse background that spans through tech recruiting, facilities, and construction. I have approached all facets of issues through data collection, data manipulation, and data visualization. With over 5 years of experience in the construction industry, I have worked on a public infrastructure project where I quantified contractual requirements to provide actionable insights on submittals, RFIs, payments, change orders, and other project-related matters for leadership and project managers. My expertise in data analysis and visualization has enabled me to help the team identify trends, track progress, and make informed decisions.

I am an MRICS qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 8 years experience in the QS/Cost Management field. Working both pre and post-contract, I maintain professionalism throughout the production of high-quality documentation, Cost Planning, Tender Production & Analysis, and effective collaboration with project teams to achieve common project goals and best value for clients. I have cross-sector experience working on a variation of high-profile projects including luxury hotels, commercial builds and fit-outs, renewables (wind & solar farms), museums, and residential builds. With strong communication and diplomacy skills, a positive mind-frame to overcome complex challenges, and utilizing planning and organizational abilities – I ensure successful outcomes are accomplished on all projects.

I am a fully qualified Assistant Cost Manager with valuable experience in the construction industry across several countries. I have worked across a variety of sectors, including the built environment and infrastructure, subsequently this has provided me with a wide range of cost management skills within both pre and post contract roles. I am able to work effectively as part of a team, leveraging my interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with a multitude of clients.

I have been actively involved in the construction cost consulting industry for the past 2 years working on a variety of different projects. I have experience in both the consultancy and general contractor side, where I gained practical experience both on the site and in the office on some of the most complex and cutting-edge residential projects in the Cape Town area. Since joining Turton Bond I have gained priceless experience in the pre and post-contract phases of a broad spectrum of projects ranging from upscale commercial and residential builds.

After completing my Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying in 2018, I joined one of the leading UK main contractors working within their civil engineering and infrastructure business. Having joined as part of their Graduate Development Programme, I gained invaluable experience and exposure to the technical and analytical detail of how projects are planned and built, covering elements of construction from inception to completion. I also had the pleasure of working alongside clients and designers within their office settings, enabling true collaborative working and establishing strong working relationships. I have a vast amount of knowledge from working on several schemes of values varying from $3 – $100 million and look forward to taking the skills I have developed in the industry and applying these to a range of opportunities at Turton Bond.

Since earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University in 2022, I joined a leading New York and Maryland construction contractor where I gained experience across both private sector and federal projects respectively. I have contributed to high-profile developments in New York City, including a large-scale luxury residential skyscraper, as well as a critical infrastructure airport project. These roles have allowed me to refine my skills in project coordination, cost management, and stakeholder collaboration, while working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. I have been able to leverage a diverse skill set including project coordination, cost management, stakeholder collaboration, trade management, and regulatory compliance. These skills have enabled me to efficiently manage complex construction operations, align cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless delivery within both private-sector and federal environments.
